1. Readily accessible rapid syphilis testing and conventional, lab-based syphilis testing for individuals at increased risk for syphilis
2. Syphilis testing at low or no cost to individuals who would not otherwise be able to afford testin
3. Client-centered counseling is designed to reduce clients’ risk of acquiring or transmitting syphilis
4. Appropriate follow-up and care to treat and cure identified syphilis cases

Who should get tested for Syphilis?

1. Men who have sex with men (MSM)
2. People living with HIV
3. People who are pregnant
4. People who have been diagnosed with a gonorrhea or chlamydia infection
5. Partners of people who have tested positive for syphilis, people who are sexually active and live in areas with high syphilis rates
6. People who are taking PrEP for HIV prevention
7. People in correctional facilities
